Birthday Makes Me HaPpY ^o^

What an awful feeling on a Monday and moreover it was my birthday! I was running down with a fever, had flu and bad cough so I had no choice and took a day off from work. Felt so lethargic and helpless~ Sob Sob :( After a day rest, I returned to work the next day and I was surprised and blessed with lovely gifts. Thanks for the funny and warm birthday SMSes that all my friends sent to me.

Birthday Parcels

This was my 2nd time purchase of the customized cookies parcel from Yoke Bakery. As expected, their cookies were beautifully made and packed nicely in a simple yet presentable gift box together with a printed gift tag. I had also ordered their Brownie Nut Fudge which the photo posted on their website tempted me to order it ~ hehe!

The cookies parcel and brownie were a surprised birthday gift to EL. I did not have in mind what to get for her. Since she loves to eat, I decided to get her these delectable cookies and brownies. EL was so "nice" that she brought 2 pieces for me to try ~ ONLY 2 leh!!

This is awfully so so good and delicious!
Chocolatey, Nutty and Fudgey enough to make EL, her family, my mum and I drooling ~ of course, we desparately want another serving of the brownies.

This is my fav ~ healthy, chewy, nutty and fruity

Usually we will get to eat this during CNY ~ however, they can bake these too.
The cookies are packed in a small plastic container.

Have a Good & Healthy Weekend ^.~

It's the weekend and I am in no good mood : ( Feeling lousy as I have throat ulcers which cause pain and discomfort. It even leads to cough now and it irritates my throat. I try to gargle with warm salt water every now and then so as to soothe the pain. This is the only treatment I know but somehow it does not help much. I may have to visit the doctor again :(

I went dinner with my colleague @Coffee Club yesterday and ordered a petite cake named "MANGO MADNESS". It would not have been a complete delighted dinner without having my dessert ^.~

Order this cookies & shortbread gift parcel from Yoke Bakery for my boss. Overall, the presentation is beautiful and the cookies & shortbread are freshly baked and yummy ^.~ (no preservatives so need to consume within a week). I like the colorful teapot and lovely tulip cookies very much ~ kirei desu ne!
